Dr. Larry T. Crudup is known for his innovative leadership style and his deep commitment to ministry. His passion for reaching and serving the community has brought a fresh perspective to our congregation. Under his guidance, Mount Moriah Baptist Church has embraced new initiatives that focus on meeting the evolving needs of our members and the surrounding community.
Pastor Crudup has been instrumental in fostering a spirit of unity and collaboration within the church. He strongly believes in empowering every member to utilize their unique gifts and talents in service to God. Through his dynamic preaching and teaching, he encourages us to deepen our relationship with Christ and live out our faith in practical ways.
In addition to his ministry within the church, Dr. Larry T. Crudup has been actively engaged in fostering interfaith dialogue and collaboration. He firmly believes in the power of unity among different religious communities to address social issues and promote peace. Through partnerships with local organizations and religious leaders, our church has been able to participate in various interfaith events and initiatives that aim to create a more harmonious society.
Pastor Crudup's vision for Mount Moriah Baptist Church centers around spiritual growth, community engagement, and transforming lives through the love of Christ. His dynamic leadership continues to inspire and challenge us to live out our faith in impactful ways. As we look towards the future, we are grateful for the guidance and wisdom Pastor Crudup brings to our congregation, and we eagerly anticipate the great things that lie ahead for Mount Moriah Baptist Church under his leadership.
Prior to serving at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, Pastor Crudup served as the Senior Pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church of Oklahoma City, Assistant Pastor and Teaching & Ministry Elder of Sweet Home – The Pinnacle of Praise in Round Rock, TX, and as the Director of Christian Education at Saint Mark Baptist Church in Dallas, TX.
Larry T. Crudup Ministries
He received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Religion and The Arts with a minor in Secondary Education from Belmont University in May 2010. He is also a graduate of Southern Methodist University’s Perkins School of Theology in Dallas, TX, where he earned a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree. Furthermore, he holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Interdisciplinary Studies with a major in Ethical and Creative Leadership from Union Institute & University in Cincinnati, OH.
Dr. Larry T. Crudup is a charter member of the Academy of Preachers, an organization that supports and inspires the next generation of young preachers. He is passionate about preaching and has helped plan National Preaching Festivals for Young Preachers, Regional Preaching Festivals for Young Preachers, and Preaching Camps. He has also published sermons with the Academy of Preachers, mentored young preachers, led preaching circles, and served as an AoP Catalyst (leadership team).
Dr. Crudup is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and is married to the wonderful Jacinta Crudup, his high school sweetheart, and they have two beautiful daughters named Zoë Alana Crudup and Zuri May Crudup.
